Introduction¶
Following the trial, the use of dual ATIS is to be the normal.
Manchester ADC & APC controllers shall use the new profiles, while enroute controllers providing top-down coverage can opt to use either the “Legacy” Combined ATIS, or connect both a departure and arrival ATIS where number of connections permits.
Manchester Planner frequency has been moved to a new frequency to free up the Arrival ATIS frequency.
2601 controller pack or later is required for euroscope to recognise the new frequencies.
To use the new ATIS profile, just import the profile provided by the pack - a controller pack is not required to get this change, as vATIS will update automatically.
Note
Controllers should ensure that the ATIS designators are neither the same nor alphabetically consecutive
