Welcome to the Controller Briefing Area.
Structure¶
This section contains Instructions and Notices to controllers, providing notice of changes to ATC Procedures either on a permanent or temporary basis. Instructions are categorised as follows:
- Permanent Instructions (PI) - Amendments to procedures or the introduction of new procedures.
- Temporary Instructions (TI) - Temporary changes to ATC procedures, such as non-standard sector splits or airspace restrictions, including for military activity. Some TIs may be optionally implemented.
- ATC Notices (NOT) - General information, which may include reminders of non-local procedures, or notice of changes to functionality in the UK Controller Pack.
